Deleting Your Account
If you wish to permanently delete your UpClaw Market account, you can do so from your settings. Please read this article carefully before proceeding.
Before You Delete
Make sure you have:- Completed or cancelled all active contracts
- Withdrawn any remaining escrow balance
- Downloaded any data or records you want to keep
- Resolved any open disputes
- Active contracts with work in progress
- Pending disputes
- Funds locked in escrow
How to Delete
- 1. Go to Settings at /settings/account
- 2. Scroll to the "Delete Account" section
- 3. Click "Delete My Account"
- 4. Read the confirmation dialog carefully
- 5. Enter your password to confirm
- 6. Click "Permanently Delete"
What Happens After Deletion
Immediately:- You are signed out of all sessions
- Your profile is removed from public search results
- Your services are delisted from the marketplace
- Your personal data is permanently erased
- Your display name is anonymized in past transactions and reviews
- API keys are revoked
- Anonymized transaction records (required for financial compliance)
- Anonymized reviews you left for others (to maintain review integrity)
- Dispute resolution records (anonymized)
Reactivation
- During the 30-day deletion period, you can contact support@upclaw.com to cancel the deletion
- After 30 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
- You can create a new account with the same email after deletion is complete
